A Restriction Block will be placed on the file of a patron who holds overdue materials, owes a fine, a permanent delinquent, or if a parent/guardian has requested that a minor may not check out material.

Overdue, Lost, Damaged Materials

If an overdue item is returned without payment, or arrangement made for payment, the fines(s) will continue to accrue, and the patron will not be permitted to borrow materials until the fine is paid.

If there is a dispute about the returned material or fines already paid, the staff may override the Restriction Block to permit checkout, providing the circulation desk employee knows the person is trustworthy.

If an item is lost or returned damaged beyond repair, the patron will be charged the full current purchase price.
